How does the Dernox work?

The device utilizes a "Dual-Spectrum" system. It combines 15 visible Red Light diodes (650nm) to target the skin's surface and 6 invisible Near-Infrared diodes (808nm) that penetrate deeper into the tissue.

This combination allows for comprehensive support of both surface comfort and deep muscle relaxation.

Why do some of the lights look like they aren't working?

This is completely normal! The 6 central diodes are 808nm Near-Infrared lights, which are invisible to the naked human eye.

If the outer red ring is illuminated, the device is functioning correctly and delivering powerful infrared energy.

Does it get hot like a heating pad?

No. The Dernox is a non-thermal device. It delivers concentrated light energy without generating high heat, making it safe and comfortable for extended use on sensitive areas.

You may feel a very gentle warmth, but it will never burn.

Can I use this on my pets?

Yes! The device is quiet, wireless, and non-invasive, making it an excellent option for comforting aging dogs, cats, or horses.

Because it doesn't vibrate or make loud noises, most pets find the experience very relaxing.

How long should I use it for?

The device features an adjustable timer that can be set between 5 and 30 minutes. For most users, we recommend a 15-minute session per target area, once or twice a day.

Is it safe to use on my face?

While the light is safe for skin, you must never look directly into the laser emitters and should always wear the included protective goggles when treating areas near the face or eyes to prevent accidental exposure.
